Ingredients for the Pork

  • 1 pound pork belly
  • 2 stalks green onion
  • 3 slices of ginger

Ingredients for the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

Equipment and Other Things

  • Medium pot with lid
  • Small spoon

Preparing the Pork

0) Pork belly is easier to slice when chilled. Placing it in the freezer for ~5 minutes prior to cutting is recommended. Choose pork belly with large and distinct layers of fat and meat. This particular example is a bit on the skimpy side but the results are still pretty good.

The end product is great either warm or chilled so leftovers (if there are any) aren't a problem. Enjoy!
